Brief History of TARELCO II
MAY 1981
TARELCO II was incorporated through the efforts of the five Interim Board of Directors: Bernardino Velasquez (Capas), Vedasto Sigua (Bamban), Feliciano Garcia (Concepcion), Restituto Ignacio (La Paz), Luis Zamora, Jr. (Zaragoza).

Date of Registration with the National Electrification Administration (NEA)
JUNE 1981 – JULY 1982
The Interim Board of Directors negotiated with the Compania Luz Electrica, Inc. (CLE), the previous distribution utility, and acquired the company’s physical assets amounting to P7.6M. NEA then granted a P33.6M initial Construction Loan to TARELCO II to build its facilities and to prepare for its operations.
On August 1, 1982,
TARELCO II began its operations.

Energized Barangays
The cooperative has fully energized the 121 barangays of the said towns including Villa Bacolor, Tarlac City, Calumpang, Mabalacat City of Pampanga, and San Jose, San Antonio of the province of Nueva Ecija.
